Natural Skin Bleach

Things You'll Need

  • Ground oatmeal
  • Yogurt
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Wooden spoon

Instructions

  1. Add 2 tbsp. ground oatmeal, 1 tbsp. plain yogurt, 1 tsp. olive oil and 2 tsp. lemon juice to a medium-sized mixing bowl.

  3. Apply the mixture to any area of skin that requires bleaching. Cover the area completely and allow the homemade skin bleach to dry on the skin.
  4. Wait 15 to 30 minutes, and then rinse the bleach away using cool water. Use a hand towel to pat the area, but do not dry it completely.
  5. Apply a mild moisturizing lotion to the bleached area of skin to prevent drying. This treatment should be repeated at least twice a week until the desired color has been achieved.

Why most face creams don't work

Cells have a certain size while cream cells are bigger than them making it impossible to penetrate your skin. Happily, a new technology called liposomes allows micro cells to carry water, nutrients and vitamins straight into your skin cells easily. Technological advanced products, might cost a little more but would actually work. Before you buy a cream test it on your skin, if you notice it's just sitting there, maybe you should look after Serums. These are more watered and most times is small enough to penetrate your skin faster.

And what about Collagen creams?

Collagen is also too big to enter your skin, is a large, complicated molecule, measuring 300 nanometers long and 1.5 nanometers in diameter, with a weight ranging from 65,000 to 300,000 Daltons.
What?
To make it simple, Collagen doesn't penetrate your skin for the same reason other creams won't.

Then how can you make Collagen creams work?
You simply can’t. Your skin is designed to keep big strange substances out, not allowing them to penetrate our system. This means that if you use wrinkle cream, especially a collagen wrinkle one, you may want to think twice about spending that money on a product that might work simply as a moisturizer.

“The truth is, any moisturizer, whether it costs $10 or $1,000, will temporarily plump the skin for a few hours by infusing it with moisture … The cheaper creams work just as well, so don’t feel bad about sticking with sunscreen and an affordable priced moisturizer.”

But not all is lost, keep in mind the tip given before,
"Look after Technological advanced products"
these can penetrate your skin and do some work.

Liposomal creams are the real solution for your skin.

How to wash your face - Proper Face Wash

First of all, grabbing whatever soap is close at hand is not a good idea because not all soaps are created equal. There are, however, a wide array of choices for your skin type - whether it's oily, dry, normal or combination -. You might also consider how sensitive your skin is and how prone you are to breakouts. Water temperature is also important - certain temperatures are kinder to your skin than others.

Splash warm water all over your face. Warm water opens your pores and helps you clean deeper, so avoid using cold water if possible. (You might even want to let your face steam in the bath or shower for a few minutes.) Don't dry your face yet!

Apply a cleanser or soap using gentle, circular motions. Spread all over the face gently, especially if you have acne; scrubbing hard will make it worse or even leave scars. Remember that you don't need a lot of product for a thorough clean.
  • Facial scrubs contain tiny beads or particles that help rub away dead skin cells (i.e. exfoliate). This will make your face smoother and fresher looking while helping to unclog your pores.
  • To exfoliate with regular soap, use a face scrubber (a soft, knit piece of material) or facecloth. Gently rub it in circles over your skin as you did the soap. Don’t scrub hard or you will irritate the skin and encourage wrinkles.
Thoroughly rinse away the soap. Splash your face repeatedly with water, rubbing gently with your hands after each splash. If it all does not come off, wet a cloth and rub your face gently to get the more obvious stuff off, then rinse again.

  • Rinse more than you think you need to. Soap residue will clog your pores, dry out your skin, and possibly even affect your skin’s natural pH. Leaving soap film on your face will make it dirtier than when you started.
  • Pay extra attention to your hairline, jawline, and anything that drips down your neck. It’s easy to neglect these spots while rinsing.
With a soft, clean towel, gently pat your face dry. Try not to rub or pull at your skin, which encourages wrinkles.

Apply an alcohol free toner with a cotton ball or pad.

Apply moisturizer (optional). Doing this won’t make your face any cleaner, but it can enhance the wash by giving your face a healthy, glowing look.

  • If you have acne, choose a non-oily moisturizer. If necessary, make sure it won’t conflict with any anti-acne products you’re already using.
  • If you’ll be going outside, use a moisturizer that contains sunscreen, preferably with SPF 15 or 30.

Zumba Fitness - How does it work - Weight loss

Zumba

Adance fitness program created by Colombian Alberto Beto Perez in the 1990s as a way of making exercise fun. With the catchy tagline "ditch the workout, join the party".
Zumba involves dance and aerobics, hip hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, squats and lunges.

With a supposedly 500 to 1,000 calories per sweat-soaked, hour-long session,
the question is: Does it work?

We have to keep in mind Zumba is dancing and dancing is exercising, which makes it obvious to work in a relative way but does Zumba burn more calories and tones your muscles better than any regular dancing?
We could say Zumba makes you express yourself through an array of dance styles such as salsa, cha cha, mambo, calypso, merengue, hip hop, reggaeton, and even belly dancing, which makes it fun and worth it. Zumba is affiliated by the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America; AFAA for short, the Canadian Personal Trainer Association and the American Council on Exercise; ACE for short.

Zumba full class:

Benefits: Interval training works in boosting the heart rate, burning loads of calories. It’s a fast and slow paced series of movements. Basically Zumba is non-stop fun action to fitness

What is real: You can burn as much as 450 calories in a 60 minutes class and "maybe" more depending how hard you do and how much you weigh. It is ideal for those who hate the gym setting and are bored with standard aerobics classes. Zumba fights boredom so you’re encouraged to become consistent without so much resistance to working out.

  •   A tip for those who are serious about it: incorporate a clean diet to your life and make sure you’re adequately hydrated throughout the day with clean water.
  • If you are already using this method, here is a link that can be useful to your daily Zumba:  Zumba Calories Calculator

Bikram Yoga - For weight loss?

What is Bikram Yoga?

The Bikram method of Hatha Yoga is a series of 26 stretching and strengthening postures (asanas) with 2 breathing exercises performed in a room heated at 40 Cº/105 Fº and with a humidity of 40% (reason to be fuming and sweating while exercising). The series is scientifically designed to provide 100 percent total body workout from bones to skin, fingers to toes. By the end of the 90 minute workout, you will have worked every muscle, tendon, joint, ligament as well as internal organs and glands while systematically moving fresh oxygenated blood throughout your entire body.

Can Bikram Yoga Help With Weight Loss?

Of the many reasons which make people look after Bikram yoga is the fact that the heat generated during such yoga exercises helps cure many ailments. There are a few scientific research papers which support the fact that some type of yoga exercises and postures can help in reducing pain that is chronic in nature. Heat is also known to increase supply of oxygen to the red blood cells of the muscles. However what is of doubt is the reason for packing so many people in such a small, hot and smelly room. Is this the reason for the so-called weight loss?

Many supporters of Bikram Yoga claim that they have lost significant amount of weight because of the heat generated which releases and melts the fat cells. It also helps increasing the metabolism rates by firing up the endocrine glands. Though people do not experience dramatic weight loss by this method, many of them do agree to the fact that they have also significant amount of weight through this method. The absence of dramatic weight loss could be because though you are losing fat cells, it is getting compensated building of health muscle mass, which indeed is good news.

Further according to Bikram Choudhury in his website, these exercises and postures help in also reducing pain apart from weight loss. However, it is important for you to take at least 10 classes a month to see the right kind of effect. For a beginner it takes around 3 to 4 classes to understand and get accustomed to these exercises and postures. Only after 10 classes will the body start feeling the effects of these exercises. Many yogis claim that through such exercises and postures, your body will have better respiratory and digestive functions, and your lymphatic, endocrine and elimination functions will also improve quite substantially. Your appetite will become normal and your cravings for unhealthy junk food will get reduced.

How to cover a Tattoo for a special occasion.

So what's the trick to having perfectly covered up tattoos? It's all about the right colors and right application.

TECHNIQUE

STEP 1: Prep Skin Make sure the area you're working with is free of germs and dirt. Wipe it down with either a light toner or Witch Hazel (available at heath food stores). Make sure the area is completely dry before starting.
STEP 2: Choose Your Tools For overall concealer application, opt for a blending or buffing brush—something that will evenly distribute and blend any cover-up into the skin. For detailed or precision work, keep a set of synthetic Taklon brushes nearby. And to set your makeup disguise with powder, use a large fluffy brush.
STEP 3: Color-Correct In order to get a smooth and even skin tone, neutralize the tattoo ink before base. For tattoos that just use black ink (typically with a blue undertone), blend a pinkish-peach toned color corrector lightly. For multicolored tattoos, neutralize each tone with a different color corrector (green and red, yellow and purple, and peach and blue neutralize one another other). Because everyone's base tone is different, you may need to mix your corrector for just the right shade. Experiment with technique and application to see what color and coverage is right for you. Yes, this process is tedious, but it's a crucial step, so take your time and do it right.
STEP 4a: Airbrush For those with access to airbrush, now is the time to pull out your gun! "Airbrushing will give a flawless veil of color on your tattoo and it lasts really well," explains Michelle.
STEP 4b: Buff and Finish "If you don't have access to airbrush, buffing is the next best thing," says Michelle, "Dab a few drops of your foundation onto your color-corrected surface, and buff using a flat-bottomed Kabuki brush—MAC makes a great one, the 180." Since buffing efficiently spreads all the product on, you really only need a few drops of foundation. Apply foundation in thin multiple layers for added coverage.
STEP 5: Set and Protect Setting your cover-up is essential to fight body friction. Lightly dust a translucent yellow-based powder with a fluffy powder brush to set your cream-based products. Then, mist a setting spray at least six inches from the tattoo. Wait a minute for it to dry before heading out the door.

Betty Boop Makeup - Costume / Halloween

Best Halloween Makeup - Homemade - How to

Hairstyles - How to

UPDO + BANGS

  • Start with dry hair. It doesn’t have to be perfectly clean– in fact 2nd day hair does better than clean hair when it comes to this look. If your hair is on day 2, spray a little DRY SHAMPOO at the root before you start.
  • Use this type of thick rubber band or something similar to gather all of your hair on the top of your head. Don’t worry about it being perfect, just make sure it won’t move.
  • Take about 1/4 of the whole ponytail (as you see Kamille doing in photo 3) and drop it off to the side. Note: try taking this piece from the side, not all the way from the back– that way the best/thickest part of the braid will show up in the front.
  • Leave the 1/4 section out and create a regular ballerina bun on top using the other 3/4 of the ponytail.
  • Once you’ve secured the bun, take the 1/4 section you left out and braid it. Fishtail, regular braid, whatever kind you want. Tie that off with a small clear elastic.
  • Secure the braid using small bobby pins. I like to put a bobby pin in every inch and a half to make sure it really stays put.
